How to obtain a Property Identification Code (PIC) Number?
State/Territory NLIS authorities issue a unique Property Identification Code (PIC) to identify parcels of land used for agricultural purposes. The PIC is the first eight characters of the NLIS ID which is printed on the tags issued to producers. Every time an animal moves to a property with a different PIC, or to a feedlot, saleyard, abattoir or other location, the PIC it moved from and to is recorded on the database, so a ‘life history’ of movements for that animal is established.

What is a Serial Number on NLIS tags?
A serial number on NLIS tags is a 5 digit number located under the PIC number.

It is a sequence for managing your livestock identity. You can have any numbers you require as long it is in sequence order. Eg. 00321 to 00421 for a 100 tags ordered.

Delivery Time?
We process our orders daily. Leader products and Allflex print to your requirements and send it directly to your address on our behalf.

Usually delivered within 5-7 days, however during the Christmas/ New Year period could be delayed.

Inaccurate information?
In the event of inaccurate (mistakes) information please contact us immediately on sales@animallidtags.com.au. We will contact the manufacturer however we cannot guarantee changes will be possible. We will endeavor to assist as best to our timeframe allows us.

Queensland Customers?
Queensland customers need to supply a current DPI form with Animal ID Tags before the order is processed.

We can supply management tags and applicators however NLIS orders must be ordered via https://dpilst.efirst.com.au/login.asp

What are your payment methods?
We accept Mastercard, Visa and Direct Deposit (details available on checkout)

Special orders?
We can sell other products Leader and Allflex manufacture not on the site. Additional products can be found on thier webites www.leaderproducts.com.au & www.allflex.com.au Please email sales@animalidtags.com.au for a quote of products required.

Ordering Information

How do I place my order online?
Simply choose the product you desire and complete the necessary information. Once you have added all your products to your cart simply proceed to checkout to finalise your order.

Do I need to have an account to place an order?
No you do not need to have a pre-existing account with us to place your order.

Payment Information

Do the prices include GST?
Yes, all prices displayed on our website includes GST.

How do I pay for my order?
During checkout you can choose your payment method. Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, Amex or Direct Deposit into our St George bank account.

How do I pay by Direct Deposit?
Our banking details, the amount payable and your payment reference will be included with your confirmation email if you choose to pay by Direct Deposit. You can then proceed to transfer the funds electronically or pay over the counter at any St George branch.

Delivery Information

How much is delivery?
Delivery is a flat fee of $14.95 anywhere in Australia.

How long does delivery take?
Depending on the products ordered delivery normally takes 3 to 6 working days.

Can I track my order?
Yes, we will email you tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Do you deliver to PO Boxes?
No, sorry we can not deliver to PO Boxes.

Return & Refund Information

Do you accept returns?
In regards to animal tags, due to the nature of custom printing on our tags, we do not accept returns or grant refunds due to customer error. However if the printing does not match the details entered during the ordering process we will happily replace the products free of charge.

In regards to our product range that do not require custom printing and are sold ‘as is’ we will happily refund or exchange the item if the item is different to what was described, or is clearly damaged or defective.

All our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Is your site secure?
